Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the services of Signature Harbour Events ("we," "our," or "us").
1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use our services.
2. Services Description
Signature Harbour Events provides professional event management services including but not limited to:
- Event planning and coordination
- Venue sourcing and management
- Vendor coordination and management
- Event design and theme development
- Day-of event coordination
- Budget management
3. Client Responsibilities
As our client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your event requirements
- Make timely decisions regarding event details
- Adhere to agreed-upon payment schedules
- Communicate clearly and promptly with our team
- Obtain necessary permits and insurance as required
4. Payment Terms
Our payment terms are as follows:
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure our services and book your event date.
- A second payment of 40% is due 90 days before the event date.
- The final balance of 30% is due 14 days before the event date.
- Additional costs incurred for changes or additions to the event will be billed separately.
- All payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
5. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel our services:
- Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event date will forfeit the deposit.
- Cancellations made between 90 and 30 days before the event date will be charged 50% of the total contract value.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event date will be charged 100% of the total contract value.
- We reserve the right to cancel services for non-payment or breach of these Terms.
6. Liability and Insurance
While we take every precaution to ensure the success of your event:
- We carry professional liability insurance up to $2,000,000.
- We are not liable for circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
- We recommend that clients obtain their own event insurance.
- Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services.
7. Intellectual Property
All event designs, plans, and materials created by Signature Harbour Events remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. After full payment, clients receive a license to use the materials for their specific event only.
8. Confidentiality
We agree to keep confidential all non-public information about your event. You agree not to disclose our proprietary methods, vendor relationships, or pricing structure to third parties.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
